Qassim Cement actively pursued superior quality from the beginning of production, for which it was crowned with the official mark of quality by the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO). Hence, it became the first Cement Company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to get quality certification.

Applications:

• Ordinary Portland Cement is predominantly used in the production of concrete. In this process, cement is mixed with aggregates (gravel and sand) and water to form a composite material that can be cast in any desired shape. When it hardens, it becomes a load-bearing element.
• Concrete can be used to construct structural elements like columns, foundations, panels, and beams or may be cast-in situ for superstructures like roads and dams. These may be supplied with concrete mixed on-site or provided as Ready-Mix Concrete made at permanent mixing sites.
• Portland cement paste (sand and water mixtures) is also used in mortars for plasters and screeds, and in grouts which is squeezed into gaps to consolidate foundations, road-beds, and other such structures.
